Erica J. Frazier
Meet Erica

Beneath the surface, there's always more.

The woman behind the work.

Because every leader has a story beneath the résumé.

Erica J. Frazier

People often meet me through my work.

They see the strategist. The operator. The person who can walk into complexity and create clarity. They see the outcomes, the frameworks, the execution plans, and the ability to bring structure to situations that feel stuck.

What they don't always see is that the way I think about organizations is deeply connected to the way I think about life.

I have always been fascinated by what exists beneath the surface.

The visible outcome is rarely the whole story.

Whether I'm helping a company scale, exploring a new city, building relationships, or reflecting on my own growth, I'm naturally drawn to understanding what creates the result people see.

That's probably why the Beyond the Fruit™ framework feels so personal to me. The way I see organizations is the way I see people.

In layers.

The Fruit

What You See

I'm a woman who shows up with intention.

People often meet me through my outcomes: clarity, structure, warmth, intelligence, and a sense of grounded momentum. I'm the person who can walk into a room and immediately understand what needs to happen, and who needs what, without making noise about it.

I care about excellence but not for applause.

I care about alignment because misalignment costs too much.

What you see on the surface, the confidence, the calm, the standards, and the way I move through the world, is the visible expression of deeper work.

But it's only the fruit.

The Trees

What Shapes Me

There's more to me than strategy.

I love experiencing life.

I love traveling to places I've never been, trying foods I've never tasted, and discovering how other people see the world.

Some days you'll find me discussing operating models, growth strategies, and organizational design.

Other days you'll find me riding ATVs, white water rafting, attending a comedy show, exploring a new city, creating something artistic, or searching for a restaurant I've never tried before.

  • I love thoughtful conversations.
  • I love laughter.
  • I love culture.
  • I love curiosity.

I am equally fascinated by how organizations work and how people grow.

The truth is, I learn from both.

The Trunk

How I Move Through Life

My operating rhythm is intentional.

  • "I make decisions based on alignment, not urgency."

    No. 01
  • "I communicate directly, but with warmth."

    No. 02
  • "I hold boundaries without theatrics."

    No. 03
  • "I follow through because my word matters."

    No. 04

I'm not interested in chaos, performance, or emotional labor.

I prefer clarity, clean energy, and relationships where both people take responsibility for their side of the street.

My trunk is the structure that keeps me steady:

  • My routines
  • My discipline
  • My self-respect
  • My emotional intelligence
  • My ability to pivot without losing myself

These aren't just personal values.

They're the same principles that shape how I lead, build relationships, and navigate life.

Lessons That Never Left

Some lessons stay with you long after the classroom, rehearsal field, or leadership program ends. These are three that continue to shape how I think about leadership, teams, and relationships today.

"

A team is only as strong as its weakest link.

As a 5 year marching band member and section leader, I learned that success was never about the strongest performer. It depended on whether everyone could move together, trust one another, and execute as a unit. Great teams are built when people support one another, not when individuals compete for the spotlight.

"

A Girl Scout always leaves a place better than she found it.

That lesson taught me that leadership is stewardship. Whether leading a team, supporting a community, or helping an organization navigate change, I have always believed my responsibility is to leave people, processes, and systems stronger than I found them.

"

Never burn bridges.

Dr. Judith Chandler (Bridges to a Brighter Future) often reminded us that relationships matter. As a proud Delta Class '02 alumnus, that lesson stayed with me. Careers evolve. Organizations change. Paths cross again in unexpected ways. Integrity, respect, and trust are investments that continue to pay dividends long after a specific role or chapter has ended.

Looking back, these lessons seem simple. Yet together they helped shape the leader I would become.

The Roots

Who I Am Beneath the Surface

My roots are where the real story lives.

I am shaped by resilience, but I am not defined by survival.

I've rebuilt myself more than once, financially, emotionally, and professionally. Each time, I've come back more aligned, more intentional, and more myself.

Faith has shaped me.

Motherhood has shaped me.

Life has shaped me.

Each has taught me something different about responsibility, resilience, grace, and becoming.

My identity is anchored in:

  • Self-trust
  • Emotional intelligence
  • A deep sense of responsibility
  • A refusal to abandon myself
  • A commitment to growth
  • A belief that life expands when you do

I value peace, honesty, autonomy, and relationships that feel like partnership, not projects.

I am a mother.

A strategist.

A builder.

A learner.

A woman still becoming.

And someone who believes the healthiest things in life are cultivated from the inside out.

What Matters Most

What Matters Most

The moments that stay with me most aren't the presentations, the titles, or the outcomes.

They're the moments when people feel seen.

The conversations where someone finally feels understood.

The laughter that helps someone forget their stress for a while.

The trust people place in one another when they feel safe enough to be fully themselves.

For all the strategy, systems, and transformation work I've done throughout my career, I've never lost sight of the fact that every organization is made up of people.

And every person carries a story beneath the surface.

I think we're all a little more layered than we appear.

A little more complex.

A little more human.

And a little more deserving of grace than we sometimes give ourselves.

Still Becoming

Still Becoming

This chapter of my life is about expansion with integrity.

I'm building a life that feels like mine in every direction:

  • My work
  • My relationships
  • My health
  • My home
  • My finances
  • My inner world

I'm not reinventing myself. I'm revealing myself.

Fully. Intentionally. Without apology.

The truth is, I'm still becoming.

Every season teaches me something new about leadership, faith, resilience, relationships, and myself.

The woman you're meeting today isn't the finished version. She's simply the current one.

And honestly, I think that's my favorite part.

This is who I am.

This is the life I'm building.

And this is the version of me you're meeting today.
